Our
ambition is to pamper our guests.
Our genius chef has fascinated both
endemic and foreign visitors with
his skills in the kitchen. His name
is Anton Viggo Viggosson. He started
his education at the Hotel and Catering
School of Iceland in 1972 and graduated
in 1976 cum lauda. He received the
school’s graduation prize,
The Golden Chef, for buffet dinner
on a plate. Directly out of school,
he started as the chief chef at
Hotel Valholl, the best summer hotel
of the country at the time. He has
worked uninterrupted as a chef and
chief chef in Denmark, the USA,
and here at home and consequently
has decades of experience.

Perlen in the
Tivoli Amusementpark of Copenhagen,
Vesturslod Steakhouse in Reykjavik
(as the owner and chef), Restaurant
Askur in Reykjavik, Danish Inn (chief
chef), one of the most popular restaurants
in Solvang, California, Sheraton
Solvang CA (chief chef), Santa Maria
Inn (chief chef) at Hotel Santa
Maria CA, Hilton Hotel Santa Maria
CA (chief chef), Tivoli Restaurante,
Ellensburg, Washington State (chief
chef).
Anton was the chief
chef of the Three Flags Club in
Keflavik, and hotel manager and
chef of Hotel Ranga, Icelandair
Hotel.
